Just did it this weekend.
No guides that I found.
So here goes from memory.
1) yank the negative terminal from the battery in the trunk (under your spare). Shove it in a latex glove so it can’t arc accidentally.
2) take a long/thin flat blade screwdriver to the 3 holes surrounding the wheel (near
paddles, and underneath near the gloss trim screw hole). Imagine a wire going around the airbag module along the steering wheel plane of movement. Orientate the flatblade perpendicular to the wire sonit makes contact with it. And push hard till the air bag module mops out a bit. U are pushing the wire out of a L pressure fitting inwards. Once all three are pushed in the unit will poop out.
Unplug the 3 wires/connectors.
Use a 21mm socket and breaker to undo the center bolt. Make sure steering wheel is centered... then pull it.
3) take pictures of various screws/bolts as you disassemble the old wheel. If something won’t budge, there is a screw.
4) the hardest part was the
paddles... there is a screw on the inside you remove first, then gently rock them out of the pressure fitting.
Also note the orientation/placement of connectors (and how they lay in the metal bosses/routing).
Go slow and don’t panic.
5) reverse on new wheel.
