Is anyone with a boost gauge using JB4?

I wonder if someone here has ever compared the boost number shown in the JB4 app with the one of an external boost gauge.
I know a few people who say the actual boost measured by external boost gauge is much higher than what is shown on the app.
Several people who use 17 psi on JB4 say their gauges show between 1.4 and 1.5 bar (20~21psi).
Can anyone either confirm this or prove this wrong?
I would like to believe the JB4 boost is correct but these reports make me worry a little bit and I don't have a gauge myself.

I have a snow WMI VC-50 and it has a gauge that is directly connected to the intake manifold with a boost hose, it shows 1-2psi more than what I get in the JB4, even in Map0. I had one of those generic OBD2 bluetooth loggers before the JB4 was available and it reads the same as the JB4. So probably a sensor/voltage from the cars OEM sensor reading less, not a JB4 calibration issue.
 
We've checked the JB4's readings against a high quality mechanical gauge several times as well as the sensor calibration sheet from Bosch.

But it's just a firmware setting. If everyone wants the logs to read 1-2psi higher despite what the sensor data sheet says we can make that happen for you. :)

PS. Since I was posting a new firmware update today anyway I adjusted the scaling slightly up around 0.75psi at 15psi. For those concerned let me know if you find it more to your liking.
