Hi I'm JAYP in Houston, TX. Thank you for welcoming me to the group. On August 28, 1917 I lost 3 cars in the Harvy flood. They were underwater for 2 weeks due to Harvy and the dam release of water. Me and my wife were the original owners of a 1995 Honda VTEC, 5 speed 210,000 miles.
a 1999 Mercury Cougar V6, 5 speed, 205,000 miles. a 2008 1/2 Mazdaspeed 3 6 speed, 80,000 miles Cobb stage 3 ,covers. Heavy duty engine and transmission mounts, Front and rear strut towers, corksport 4 piston front calipers, larger turbo, 4 inch top mount intercooler and 4 inch cold air intake. Tuned by Kozmic motor sports 325 hp to the wheels. AL Priority laser jammers 3 heads front, 2 heads rear.
We had 14 inches of water on our 1st floor for 2 weeks. Lucky we had flood insurance took all $250,000. to rebuild over 7 months. We bought a 2017 Maxima in September 2017 as we needed a car and the Stinger was not out yet. Now that I have paired off the contractors I will be going to a KIA dealer this week to order a 2018 Stinger GT 2 RWD on a lease to buy. As we get a car we like and keep it till one of us dies.
