New to the forum, currently driving an A5 but looking to make the switch to the Stinger, love it.
The issue I have is there is only 2 engines choices here in Ireland, the big V6 or the diesel. I dont want another Diesel and the tax/mpg of the V6 is putting me off - and the price.
I am hoping to import the 2l petrol version but it's looking like a difficult task. Has anybody here attempted it?
I'm looking to get an idea of the vrt to import, the 2l petrol Stinger is not an option on Ros.ie so I am not sure how you can calc vrt, last thing I want is to purchase in UK and get hit for a huge VRT bill. Currently the 2l diesel is about €7k on Vrt but the v6 is about 14k ( 2018 reg) - big differance.
I'd appreciate any help. Also I think tax will be €700 a year, can anybody confirm? V6 is €1200
