IIHS Top Safety Picks 2020: These are the safest vehicles of the year

The Stinger earned a Top Safety Pick rating from the IIHS, which apparently is more difficult these days as they changed the standards to include external parties as well as the occupants (the G70 earned a Top Safety + rating). Not the sexiest stat, but really important in my book, especially in light of all of these accident threads.

I think it's been important to KIA especially for American buyers. Not that I always follow that stat closely, but when we were shopping for the Telluride I was pleased to find it was expected to recieve top safety pick as well.
Also at 4000 lbs +/- I would hope this big ol cow is safe for that weight

I never paid attention to IIHS until I had kids a few years ago. It was actually one of the reasons I went with the Stinger.
