Hi,
MY21 Stinger has a different fuse layout.
If I may use ShannonC's photo in his attachment 36971 in Post #8 or #9 above, by Bezerker.
I am unable to post a link, sorry.

The fuse shown in there has been changed to a different size and is now labelled "Charger"-I believe it is for the QI phone charging.

The fuse in 4th place (up or down) from that pictured is labelled POWER OUTLET and seems to be switched accessory.

PS: This is on an Australian RH drive vehicle.

The 20amp spare fuse and the 15amp wiper/washer fuse are both switched power. I’ve got my radar detector and Mando ECS10 on them.
Finally. Someone laid claim to the 2019 interior fuse box. The 2018 and 2019 are not alike. Precisely what I needed to hard wire my Escort 360c using the ZW5 laser shifter interface. 20A spare it is! I'm going to need another add-a-circuit for the dash cam.

For anyone else that needs this info, the 10A "interior lamp" fuse (top left of the driver's side fuse box), is switched with the doors being locked and the car being off. This works out well for a dashcam so it starts up basically while you're getting in the car and is on by the time the car is started.

For those that need multiple fuse taps (me, dashcam and radar detector), I used the 10A "interior lamp" for the dashcam and the upper 20A "power outlet" fuse (as shown in the picture above in the thread) for the radar detector as that one is switched with the actual ignition.
I played with this the other day (22 Elite Canadian) with no luck and found myself here researching more. I had not realized that there’s a side for the original fuse and a side for the dashcam (in my case). I also read that matters which way the tap is inserted. im not sure how much of that was my problem but I managed to find quite a few but the dashcam didn’t power off with the car off and locked.

Can you confirm (or anyone suggest)
a) best to tap for simple ignition on/off switched (obviously not sunroof. I think I have 2 labeled interior lamp)
b) best to tap for above scenario … dashcam on when approaching car or when doors open and off about 15 seconds after exiting car (like the headlights do). Keep in mind it can’t be triggered off by door lock (i don’t lock when in garage).

You tried the 20amp Spare? And the wiper/washer fuse?

I made a successful second attempt with the washer fuse tapped. I now have a dashcam and Qi mount charger wired to it so it comes on/off with ignition.

I still wonder though if there’s a fuse that turns on when car senses fob close (like when mirrors open) and off when walking away (even if doors left unlocked (like lights timing out after 15 seconds.

perhaps too much to ask …

So, I’ve installed my fair share of electronic equipment in my cars over the past 40 years or so (stereos, radar detectors, second OBDII ports to support WiFi dongles, etc.), but I’ve never seen a fuse box with an on/off switch.

Are there instructions on how/when to use this? I’m used to wiring to a hot fuse box and just being careful to wire in the correct order and not to let loose wires dangle next to metal parts of the car.

Is it as simple as “turn off the fuse box when pulling/inserting fuses or other wires”? Any other effects on the car (loss of radio presets, seat memory, etc.)?

Yep, it’s odd. I’ve never tried switching it off and haven’t found any literature on what it does either.

It gets a mention in OM.

Hey , im trying to connect these LED Vents into my stinger, I have a in line circuit that fits only into 15A. I tried putting it into every fuse that says 15A but the vents did not light up. What do you suggest? And where can I purchase a in-line circuit that supports the Kia Stinger 10A plugs in the fuse box

Not sure. I ordered the vents as well and they're on their way but I wasn't going to attempt to install without proper instructions. K8 is supposedly creating some. Did you ground them to the large bolt on the left of the fuse box?

They're app controlled. Did you ensure they're turned on in the app? Does the app connect to them? If it does then they're obviously getting power.

You could try reaching out to Papa or Anthony on the FB Stinger groups and see if they can help you. They don't do the installs though so may not know either.

do you have pictures of the wires, and where you've attempted to plug in?
Not sure what you mean by "in line circuit that fits only into 15A"
