3.3TT How to remove secondary downpipes after removing the bolts?

I heard you can remove the pipes without removing the midpipes so I got all 12 bolts off and loosened the support bracket thing and I just cant figure out how its supposed to wiggle out. Whats the trick?

Also the ark secondary downpipes came with a bunch of bolts and nuts but where do I use them? I know I use 2 on each where it connects to the midpipe but what about the others?

Um I don't remember having difficulty with the 12 bolts. There is 2 on each tab to hold them to the body and 2 on each bracket to hold the pipes together.
