How do I force the Radio to use FM, not DAB?

My area has poor DAB reception and often hit dead spots, radio just goes blank. Same story in tunnels where DAB is not relayed like FM is.

The band selection says DAB/FM and I presume I am meant to get FM more often out in the sticks.

What have I missed?
 
Are you able to manually select an FM station in your area?

I tried this and I can manual set it, am have stored it, although i could not find it with auto scan.
