Hood saying it’s not closed

I have a 22’ Stinger Gt2 and it recently started having the problem of saying the hood is open randomly while I’m driving. I have a stock hood and have made sure to properly close it and it still gives me this issue. Should I take it into the dealership or could it be because the weather just recently got bad?

Inspect the hood latch.

There is a switch in there that tells the car the hood is open / closed.
