Check out this article from MR regarding the new Hondata tunes for the '18 Accord. They did a great job of unleashing a lot of torque for their 2.0, but check out the dyno charts for the bone stock motor--266hp/292 lb. ft. TO THE WHEELS. That's WAAYY more than the factory rating. I'm starting to feel like a 1st owner of the original Genesis that was saddled with the 1st gen 2.0 in the face of these new motors coming out...

I don't buy it. Nearly the same HP as the type-r but even more torque? That makes absolutely no sense, especially with a 5.7 0-60. That dyno jet they were using must be reading high :)

haven't read the article, but was their a disclaimer about the use of off road only parts? i know manufacturers used to quote a lower hp/torque rating for insurance purposes for the buyer. bmw still does that.

Stinger owner or not, I have trouble believing that this isn’t clever marketing. Also Dynojets have notoriously high numbers.
