Hey everyone. I've had a JB4 for almost 4 years now and have run Map 2 on 93 octane almost exclusively since I first installed it (toyed with map3 e30 mixes here and there) with minimal timing corrections (blips of 1.5 here and there).
I moved to Arizona a couple months ago which only has 91 octane and I've been getting some crazy timing corrections (8+ degrees in some cases) . I've been slowly troubleshooting for about 6+ weeks now and have changed out my hks plugs, done multiple battery resets, and even tried addressing the octane issue (e85 and even straight 100 octane and I still get corrections as high as 5 degress on map 1). I'm not sure what would've changed but I'm thinking it's somthing other than octane limitation because of the lack of significant change in timing. Anyone have any ideas?
I've been eyeing getting an ek1 to take advantage of the BEFs being released but I don't wanna do that if I can get these timing issues under control.
I've attached recent logs from each fuel grade (91, e, and 100) with map 1 for reference.
