I can't believe my good friend Jimmy is here! Hey! Thanks for signing up! Now I know you're not typically a forced induction kind of guy - but you have to admit - this Stinger GT is pretty intriguing. Isn't it? I know you have a Camaro SS so the performance aspect probably isn't your highest priority. Can I guess you like the appearance? Or are you just here for me? :p El Oh El! :p

To me, the Stinger is a really good looking car. I know it takes some design cues from this car and that car - I really don't care. When I see a beautiful woman I don't complain that she's not unique or looks like somebody else. If she's beautiful, she's beautiful! And that's the end of it!

That's how I feel about the Stinger. I think it's a really impressive looking car and the performance it offers is equally impressive - especially considering how it's coming from a brand that doesn't normally do this kind of thing. It sort of reminds me of how the Grand National worked for Buick. Buick wasn't known for having a car with that kind of performance - where it's beating Corvettes of it's time. But there it was - in all its glory...

Anyway. I don't want to ramble on so long that you stop here once and never come back. :p I'm glad you're here. Thanks again! It's good to see you on a "forum" again. :)

I don't know. It's one of the very few recent cars that have caught my attention. I don't mind forced induction if it's used as it was meant to be: to make EXTRA power, not to make the engine smaller. Take away the turbo from this engine, and it still has plenty of power. That's the way it should be.

As for the styling, it's okay. A little busy. But exterior styling is low on my list of priorities.

We will see. It's either this or the forthcoming Regal.

The new Regal is very nice so I have no trouble understanding what its on your short list. If you want a more laid back entrance, the Regal is the car. If you want to turn more heads, that's going to be the Stinger GT. Okay, so I see where you're coming from regarding forced induction. Yes, a 3.3 liter V6 will still have plenty of power without the turbos. I'm sure some of these cars will be tuned to around 600hp in time - as long as the internals are good enough.

Turbo/Supercharging has come a long way. It's not unreliable like it was in the past. There are a few cars out there that now use both turbocharging and supercharging simultaneously. :p That seems kinda funny. Then you have two twin scroll turbos on some cars - which is like having four turbos. :p They may be overdoing it. :D
