2.0T Help with using intake cleaner products on 2.0 engine.

Hello everyone

First I have to start off by saying I don’t know much about cars. I know there is a lot of videos out and even post in here about using intake cleaning products but I’ve only seen for the bigger engines. I owned the gt line for almost a year and just caught wind of this issue with gdi engines. In the vids it shows spraying these products through the throttle body but correct me if I’m wrong But in the smaller engine the air intake hose leads into the turbo it seems like. Can I spray the product there like right infrnt the turbo? If not…anyone with knowledge of the smaller engine can you please help!!

So I also had looked around as well. But I found that somone had used the brake booster line to add valve cleaner. I tried it and it worked.
