Been meaning to at least get this new area started off! Yes I am a Salesman at Cobb County Kia and I am 1 of the two Stinger representatives at my dealership. Not too long ago another member posted a link on the forums as we did host a really cool party (even had some higher Kia Reps as well, even catered really good food). We are even thinking of doing another party soon!

I of course would love to help anyone pre order the Stinger of their dreams (and already have), but I am also happy to help answer any questions on the new Stinger. Believe me, I am just as excited about the Stinger as anyone on this forum. You will be hard pressed to find anyone as knowledgeable on the Stinger then me, and if I do not know I will find out if I can. Thanks for the Time, let me know how I can assist!

Welcome aboard as our first official Kia Stinger Dealership! :) That's great you're one of only two Stinger representatives at Cobb County Kia. How did you manage that? I think you're in a really great position over there considering this car is very important to the brand - and you're being trusted to represent Kia moving forward...

Does that mean that you have special training that other salespeople do not? Is it something Cobb bestowed upon you, or KMA (Kia Motors America)? I ask because I'm wondering if my dealership will have specialists too, or if it's hit-or-miss based on whenever I walk in the door.

Yeah I am really excited to be able to sell the Stinger. So far it was something bestowed upon me and the other rep by our GM. I am the resident car guy and some of my managers trust my opinion with customers trade-ins. I know a lot about what comes on trims and things like that and cars in general. Now, if anyone one else can pass the test (that I created) they can then sell the Stinger. So far though, just me and him.

It's definitely rare to have a "car guy" selling cars. Some people say it's better that way but I don't agree. I could be wrong...

Welcome aboard! Sorry about my rant on one of your previous posts, I hope you didn't take it personal as it wasn't meant to sound as if it was directed at you specifically. I'm just starving for more inforamation, as I'm sure a lot of us are.

Atlanta, huh. Man, that's a long drive just to buy a car.... 9 hours. LOL. I'm not beyond considering it, but I can just see the depreciation of my trade in tick down with each mile of the odometer. LOL
I can't wait until you guys can give us more information!

This isn't against you but at "who thinks up this crap, anyway"! Ever drive down a neigbhorhood and see the sign, SLOW CHILDREN AT PLAY? Think about it, if you already haven't. And then Kia, "55% advanced high-strength steel construction." Does that mean that 45% of the car is NOT advanced high-strength steel construction? And why only 55%? why not 55.5% or 56%? "Buy now and save 20%!" Well, if I don't buy now, then don't I save 100%? I have in my hand only 2 coins that total 55 cents. One of them is NOT a nickel. What are the two coins? Hmm. I'm rambling. I sense a great drop in the blood sugar. It's as if a million glucose suddenly cried out in terror and were silenced.

We are keeping things pretty simple really. There is no official pricing yet but we have an idea. So, you pick the trim, int/ext colors. There is a deposit required, whether you put down 5 - 10% is up to you. We are writing contracts but none of this can be used in court anyway because we don't know the exact price or even the Vin of the vehicle. We also can't cash the deposit once again due to the fact the contract is not binding. It pretty much is a good faith deposit really. In the event you hate the car or it just wasn't what said customer wanted or thought, we aren't worried as we will sell them. There are no discounts, but we are not playing the game of "oh, there is $3,000 worth of paint protection added". One of my pre orders is on the forum :p, very nice guy.

I just had to put together about 30-35 questions. I put some trick questions in there though.

I forgot to add that we are over pricing so to speak. It is much easier to tell you the price went down rather than up.

No offense taken as we all have different opinions. What information are you wanting to know? I am happy to answer what I can.

Don't rule me out. I have sold vehicles out of state before and I am sure we could work something out. I try to be easy to deal with. We could arrange shipping as well so your miles wont tick away :p
