HD live map

I noticed that my map has a HD symbol on it but doesn't always stay on. Also sometimes my route will be green then go away. Why is that?

What the protocol for determining traffic density is depends on real time communication between the NAV and an increasing web/network of cameras, satellites and spit. What I want to know is, what are 3D buildings? The on/off feature changes nothing that I can see.

If you go into a bigger city you'll see 3d diagrams of the buildings around you, it's pretty cool but not too useful.

I did not e it change just wasn't sure how it got that information.
