Hats collection. Invitation to share yours.

I never intended to start a collection of hats, much less "driving" hats. But over the years this has happened. Three hats is a collection, four or more is a growing one. Oldest of my hats are from years ago at Deal's Gap, the Tail of the Dragon. The Gurney Eagle badge is actually the oldest badge, by far, from the Las Vegas Can Am race in 1968, when my friend picked up some badges and gave me a Gurney badge which subsequently disappeared along with the coat it was sewn on. All these years later, he gave me his Gurney badge and I put it on a cap a year or two ago. The newest addition is today, at church, my neighbor who owns a Tribute Stinger had a couple of badges made and mounted on caps. This is the closest I will come to having anything "Tribute". I think it is a very attractive logo. The badge is made of stained/dyed leather.


You are now invited to share any driving/racing/car themed hats, shirts, other clothing or wearable accessories. Heck, just whatever you have that suits the subject of cars as clothing or accoutrements. If the thread morphed into sharing other collectibles, I won't mind. Just keep it car themed, if you can . . .

I have a car and bike license plate frames from tail of the dragon shop. Of course, collected in person when I passed through there on the respective vehicle.
