Has anyone had any luck resetting the TCM (harsh downshift fix) on a 2022 GT2?

I've tried 3 scanners. I'm using the Topdon ArtiDiag800 BT 2 right now and when I go into gearbox reset it says "not supported". It said this on one other scanner I tried. All the videos I've found show it working fine but they are all earlier models.

Try an earlier year. It's the same transmission and TCU, so it should work. If not try the XTool A30D, where selecting 2020 worked for my 2022 (and they may have 2022 working by now, it's been a while):

Thanks. What’s the diagnostic tool that you use? Is it difficult to do?

I used the XTool A30D. Not sure what the difference is vs. A30M, but I could not get the Special Function / Gearbox Match function to work for my 2022 (or 2021), and their support team confirmed via email they haven't enabled it for 2022 models yet.

I *did* get it to work selecting the 2020 model, and after a few days of driving in different drive modes, I haven't experienced any rough downshifts while stopping. More discussion in this thread if you're interested...

Thanks Thomby. Unfortunately the Xtool is the first one I sent back. The Topdon won't let me manually select the Stinger. It doesn't show in the list and when I have it read the VIN it says unsupported. The Autel AP200 won't work either. I will return these and re-aquire the XTool A30D

xtool works great i do it every 6 months or so. I have a 2019 though, but it's the same.you can manually input any model year you want with manual selection.
