I just got the passenger headlight replaced under warranty today on my 2019 GT2 because the UV coating on it was prematurely breaking down. When I got home and was in the garage I turned on the headlights just to check the new one and I see a hair/fiber that is inside the new headlight.

I believe they are vented headlights, so I'm wondering that because they are if this can happen, and if it will be able to at least be blown from view in the housing after driving more or if they can blow air in the vent to get it out of the way. Or, is this a sign there is a seal problem and I should ask them to replace again.

Any input is appreciated.

I'd be surprised if they'd be willing to replace it again for that fiber showing, I'd drive it awhile and see if it gets out of view or just let it slide.I know once you know it's there you can't unsee it, but it's a minor annoyance depending on how much OCD kicks in :) These kind of things can drive you crazy though so I get it.

What's really baffling is when a bug gets caught and dies inside your hatch window brake light housing. I went to the body shop to ask about some dust that got in there when they did a repair. And I was told that they would have to get a glass installer to come out and remove that housing. I said, "forget that". Only I notice the shop dust in there. But at least the bug that was there for years before that is gone. Hah.

OP, if I had that teensy bit of fluff inside my headlight I would label it under the heading nothing is perfect. After all the miles the headlight lens gets pits, scratches and buff/scruff marks on it anyway and any one of those eclipses what you are noticing.
