I've searched and read a junk load of post but couldn't find exactly what I was looking for. Can adding just lowering springs negatively effect the adaptive suspension?

They work fine after.

However, will years and years of having a lowered car (meaning the suspension is working possibly outside of normal range) cause premature failure? No way to know.

No one that I’ve seen has had any issues. Including me (3 years lowered).

But who the fark knows.

You got to pay to play. It’s a risk.

Man up and save some cash in case something fails… and replace it.

Don’t cry about warranty and expect the dealer to cover it. I hate f’rs that do that crap when they knowingly modify their car.

Being 3 years lowered my rear passenger shock has given up the ghost. A nice word to Kia who are replacing both rear shocks under warranty. Just got to wait for them to enter the country, no parts kept here.
