The Stingers infotainment display seems odd shapped. How is its functions, graphics, etc compare to say the K5’s 8 inch or even the 10 inch - though that 10 inch is fantastic.

I just got a 2021 GT2, and the infotainment and graphics were definitely updated somewhat. For 2021 at least they added the “sounds of nature” feature and the map graphics are way nicer looking than the old system. It’s also very slick and responsive. Feels like they added RAM or something.

the only thing I really wanted from the MY22 was the 10.25” infotainment screen, but after using the 8” in my car I will be just fine for the next three years of the lease.

Personally I prefer the smaller screen. The car companies have gone overboard with bigger and bigger infotainment screens that dominate the interior. It's like they are chasing Tesla or something.

Yup, I really don't look at the screen that much. 8" is plenty big for android auto's map too. More isn't necessarily more, especially where they mounted this screen. The smaller it is the less distracting it will be. Based on some pictures I've seen of the new Ford touchscreen infotainment system, I'd agree 100% other makers are suffering from screen envy.
