Hello all. Just wrapped up a great day in the Stinger GT2 at the High Performance Driving program (Simraceway) at the world-renowned Sonoma Speedway. I thought my Stinger was great before, but nothing will let you know just what a great car we have like a day on the track. 32 laps with great instruction really helped me get more out of the Stinger that I thought possible...and the car really held its own through 70 mph turns and taking full advantage of the great 60-100 mph acceleration. Here’s to hoping Kia stays committed to the Stinger - and gets us a worthy second generation car for the 2021 model year. Sure would be a shame for this Stinger to be the only Kia I ever own.

I won’t name other brand names, but just have to say...no one driving a Stinger GT needs to hang their heads when the others get all puffed up about the cars they spent so much more money on. The Stinger is the real deal - and I didn’t leave the day at the track thinking I needed to spend another $20, 40 or 50K to be in the game. Instead I left looking forward to getting better as a high performance driver who can get more of the potential out of this car. I hope Kia really gets on with championing the Stinger as an aspirational “driver’s car” in Corvette type fashion because this car is one that could really stand the test of time.
