I have just bought a Stinger here in NZ, and find that the GPS is way out of date, including roads that were here 2 years ago, and speed limits that I am being told from the sat nav are 100kph when they are only 50kph. I am being told by the Kia franchise that I bough the car from, that no updates are available !!does any one else have issues such as this?

There is an update available. The update also includes the addition of a Text messaging feature.
Not sure how is it handled in NZ and AUS, but Kia has a dedicated support number for all their Stinger owners to assist with inquiries like that, the number should be in your users manual.
