Enormous help on this forum when it comes to a lease buyout deal. Here's where I am and I would love your feedback on this 2yr/12k lease -- my plan would be to buy it out (but I am not totally sold on that because I am still not sure about the rate of depreciation or my long-term affection -- or our needs may change):
2018 GT2:
Sticker = $52,625
Dealer discount = $5,900
Lease cash = $9,900 (I'm a veteran)
Money factor = .0018 (which is right on target based on Edmunds)
Scenario 1: no money down:
Payment = $622
Net cap = $39,056
Scenario 2: $5500 down
Payment = $372
Net Cap = $33,650
I am trying to get them to dig in and give me more on the dealer discount (like Okie here got $8000 from his dealer). But even with these numbers what's everyone's thoughts on these numbers for a loaded 2018 GT2?
