Genesis has introduced the GV60 and there are a press videos coming out. It’s pretty much what the spy shots have been showing and I actually like the look! This one has some new tech features that Hyundai and KIA didn’t get on their EVs based on the E-GMP platform, items such as a facial recognition system to unlock the car and a fingerprint authentication to allow you to start the vehicle. Not sure why they didn’t integrate it in the start button though.

Here is a video from Asian Petrolhead on the vehicle the press got to see in Korea:

This one seems to be smaller than the other 2 with a 4 coupe like styling. Overall the look fits with the rest of the Genesis line up and I can’t wait to check one of these out. My favorite so far was the EV6 but this one is the winner of the 3. What do you think? Is the GV60 something you would consider?

Oh yeah, it’s got a drift mode!

Hmm, looks a bit like the Mach-E, no? Particularly the side profile.

I haven't really been too impressed with what the Koreans are bringing to the EV market. Or more specifically, the pricing of the Korean EVs have been a let down. They aren't terribly competitive (I don't know the price of this one).

Over the last decade Kia/Hyundai made cars that were good for the money. The features they offered were usually cheaper than (or standard equipment) identical features on the competitors' cars. Recently Kia has gone away from that (I'm looking at you, $56k Stinger and $60k+ EV6 GT). Anyway, all this rambling is to say that the thing that would impress me most about the GV60 is a good undercutting of their German competitors' price. Have they announced pricing?
