My partner, Sue just bought a new Stinger. ( great car, by the way). BUT, here in the sovereign state of Nevada, we must use a front plate. Bought it in Az, couldn't deal locally. How does the front plate bracket attach?Am I going to have to get creative?

I believe that you can buy a tow-hook mount for the plate that just screws into the tow-hook hole so you don't have to drill your bumper. I would seriously advise against drilling your bumper unless you have no other choice.

Outside of that, if you want to put the factory bracket on it, just take it to your local Kia store and they should be able to just give you one and screw it on.

In Nevada, if the vehicle can e from the factory without the front license plate holder, you don't need the front plate. If the has a holder, you must have the front plate installed. Check DMVNV.COM

Nevada law requires most vehicles to display front and rear license plates at all times, except motorcycles and trailers, which require only a rear plate. You must display both plates if the vehicle is designed for a front plate or if the manufacturer offers an add-on bracket or frame.

Front plates are optional only if 1) the vehicle was not designed for a front plate and 2) the manufacturer did not provide an add-on bracket or other means of displaying the front plate. (NRS 482.275).

As far as I know, I don't have a front plate holder.
