First Test Map 2 , 91 octane .

Hi all, im new on this forum, a buy a new kia stinger 22 and have install jb4 a few week. Now yesterday i receive Bluetooth adaptor. Install and test on map 2. I read de log after. Ing 4 have 5.3 retard between 5100 ans 6100 rpm.

Its a sign of bad gaz or knock? I have only acces to 91 oct. in canada. (Costco premium)

It's sort of as expected for low grade 91 octane fuel. Options are less boost, octane booster, or live with it.

My brother is running just map 1 on Esso Synergy 91 Octane in Canada. I've looked at his logs and his IGN2-6 are hitting up to 8.5 degrees of retard. IGN6 seems to be a usual suspect but all are seeing it. Some IGN2-6 is fine: <3 and not sustained or increasing >6 likely needs addressing.

Since the main (or perhaps only) difference between map 1 and map 2 is higher rpm map 1 drops the boost a little, consider using map 1.
