First Road Trip! Happy Camper!!!!

Just made my first road trip from the Dallas area to Kansas City (500+ miles). Prior to this all my driving had been around town and in the all time favorite "sport" mode. The Stinger uses gasoline in sport mode.......but who cares, it's FUN!. I was a little concerned about gas consumption on the road.
According to the onboard computer I averaged between 26-27 miles per gallon in a fully loaded Stinger (the wife leaves nothing behind when we travel). I drove a few over the speed limit in "comfort" mode and always gassed up with 91 octane! I couldn't be happier!!! This is the best, most fun car I have ever owned!!!!!!
It's definitely not the destination.....it's the journey!!!!!

Haha that is so awesome to hear! Sounds like a really fun trip indeed!

I remember driving from south Florida (we talking Hollywood/Miami area) up to where I am in New York right now... did the trip in a single day... had such a blast driving the car... was about a 1400 mile trip... was really enjoyable... and far more comfortable in the Stinger than the WRX lmfao!!

Yes. That sounds like one of my road trip descriptions. We just went to Zion Canyon last week; a "doodle" as road trips go, and the joys of simply driving in this car on untrammeled highways returned instantly. The driving was my favorite part of the trip (not even Ma Nature in all her glory can compete with the fun of driving a Stinger).
