so I had a race-chip gts for a while (i know they are nowhere near as good but it was a gift), and I also know they basically just dump boost in and target torque. JB4 should in theory make way more power, especially on map 3 and 4 right?
I've swapped over to JB4 and for some reason the car doesn't feel like it goes as hard as it did with the race-chip. I've attached a log of a WOT pull in 3rd gear. ext temp is 10 degrees Celsius (50 Fahrenheit). fuel used is Australian 98 (roughly equivalent to american 93) plus some octane booster which was just thrown in after fill up, I haven't octane tested it or anything. just want someone smarter than me, ideally terry, to take a look at the log and see if everything seems normal. I'm sure its just the different power delivery making the car feel different but want to make sure (race-chip seems to give you everything at once with less top end?)
follow up for any Australians here who know better than I do. if I want to run map 4 (up to e30 fuel), whats a safe and reliable measurement of 98 and e85 for a full 60L tank. I Don't plan on testing it every time I fill up and I wont have fuel-it setup til later this year. just want a pretty bulletproof idea of how much of each to put in the tank so I don't run too much or too little ethanol.
cheers to any and all for assistance.
