Factory amp blazing hot stereo off

So I drove home with my stereo off listening to the road noise waited probably half hour went out and pulled the truck apart to change my side markers and you have to drop the amp on the passenger side to do that to get to the three screws and it was blazing hot like burning your fingers hot wouldn't think it'd be warm at all with the stereo off?

Harman kardon you know it was a super hot day here wondering if that any relevance to it. Been driving around tonight stereo cranks no problem there
