Exterior and Interior Detaling 101

Bookmarked for future reference. Thanks for that!

Glad you liked it. I thought it was pretty cool. After lots of searches, and youtube videos, and blah blah blah, I finally found something that laid everything out. I'm planning on doing a road trip soon, and will be going through some hot climates, so was trying to figure out the best ways to protect the car (inside and out) from the damaging UV rays. In Seattle, we don't get much sun, and most people's cars sit in garages, so, a few days in a place like Nevada would be akin to 10 years of damage that would occur in Seattle (that's also why Pacific Northwest cars demand a premium in the used market).

I came across this site today, which has in depth explanations and guides for detailing.

How to Detail a Car Step by Step - Detailed Image
That's where I get my detailing supplies from (you can get very good prices if you wait for sales around each weekend or holidays). I've actually had the pleasure of meeting Matt McGovern once, very enlightening experience. He would absolutely agree that there is a consensus with ceramic coating being a waste of time and money...

Esoteric Car Care is another place that has some great videos/blogs about car detailing.
