EWG pin 9 already taken on new JB4 DB connector

Hi - I have a new JB4 and while following the instructions to connect the second EWG wire, I noticed that pin 19 is available but pin 9 isn't. It has a green wire in it already. What do I do in this instance? As I said, this is a new purchase with no modifications.

Just received a response from Terry @ BMS that the harness pin 9 wire (green in my case) is not used and needs to be cut and spliced with the second EWG wire test where pin 9 wire goes.

Yes a batch of harnsses have that wire installed. Was for something that we never implemented and isn't used, so can be removed with a DSUB removal tool and cut off, or just cut it and splice in the EWG wire, leaving the end that goes back to the harness disconnected.
