3.3TT Electrical issues?

They claim that they found the problem. Switch inside the driver door. My son is using it every day to go to work so it has not sat long enough to go dead. It got listed on Kijiji yesterday. My son just wants to dump it. $6,000 dollar loss not counting the lawyer bill which is still to come.

I have similar thing. I am from Estonia and have 2018 3.3TT. I changed the battery to brand new one 2 months ago. Now a 2 weeks ago passenger back door lock shows "door open" and wont go away even when disconnecting battery for 30 min. Seems the door lock is dead. Today my new battery is dead again, 6.5 V only remaining.

Seems like the door switches (all of them) are the major weak point of the car.
