Ebay license plate mount over $500

Anyone know why the tow hook license plate mounts for sale on ebay are over $500. That is crazy.

Since we have to have front plates in California, not that it is enforced, you see a crap ton of Tesla's without them, I am going to use license plate wraps. It is a sticker with the plate on it, it will cover most of the 5 holes the dealer drilled into my bumper. Then use bumper plugs for the remaining two holes.
