Early Service Reminder??

Just rolled over 4500km and the service reminder is chiming every time I start the car, indicating that I'm close to the 6000km service. According to the manual and the UVO driving diagnostics app in the car, I shouldn't be ready for my 1st service until 12000km. Has the dealership set the service reminder for 6000km intervals to get me in early and pay for extra service/s, or is the manual wrong?

Go by what it says in the service booklet supplied with the car. In Australia it’s 12 months or 10,000km whichever comes first. Either way you can manually set the service interval and reminder in the settings menu in the dash. Just check your manual
