Received an email from kia Australia yesterday with there first news letter about the Kia. I registered my interest months ago and paid a deposit about 3 months ago was told 1 st for Tasmania and 3rd for Australia. Was at our kia dealer on Friday and they stated the head Of KIA Australia was there last week and stated the Aussie production starts in July with cars arriving in Australia in mid to late August. GT around the 50k range. I have order the dark purpleyblue colour but not sure about the interior colour yet.

Welcome to the first Kia Stinger update. Thank you for registering your interest. Not only will you be one of the first to test drive, but you'll also be first in the know when it comes to the All New Stinger.

Kia took the world by storm when it unveiled its incredible new Stinger at the Detroit Motor Show in January this year. These newsletters will keep you informed until you have the chance to experience the Stinger when it arrives here in late August.

Designed in Europe by Kia's world-renowned Chief Design Officer, Peter Schreyer, this stylish and beautiful design demonstrates the true gran turismo ethos - fast, nimble and luxurious with a perfect balance of ride and handling.

From dream to reality, the Kia Stinger is 7 years in the making. From the original concept revealed 6 years ago, to today's production vehicle, the Stinger has been a labour of passion, perseverance and patience.

The Kia Stinger will be backed by Australia's best 7 year factory warranty, 7 year capped price servicing and have up to 7 years of Roadside Assistance. Tested on the Nurburgring, tuned in Australia - the Kia Stinger is made for you.

With its low profile fastback silhouette, this seductive sports sedan exudes confidence and athleticism. Measuring 4,830mm in length, 1,870mm in width and riding on a wheelbase of 2,905mm, the classic GT proportions create our very own iconic car.

Its sleek and sophisticated design features your own aircraft style, cocoon-like interior. Exquisitely crafted details include satin chrome accent lines along the dash, whilst the aircraft inspired metal-ringed dials as well as the floating door grab handles and premium sport seating cosset you for a pure driving experience.

The all new Kia Stinger is the beginning of a new chapter. Join us on our journey and for our next instalment - Performance.

    Regards

Although we've put a deposit this email was received because I've registered my interest on the KIA Australia website.
If you have as well, maybe you can register again.
Agreed though, it's definitely getting real.

Cheers. I did manage to find this email in my SPAM folder also. Did not realise when searching emails (gmail) that the spam folder is actually excluded unless you specifically search in that folder.
