Is the concept of following distance taught any more in these classes?

What do they teach about it these days?

Are you experiencing issues? I am. Someone, usually in a big pickup, is always filling my hatch window.

If "they" teach following distance, it isn't showing up on the road. I'll move over, or accelerate out and around to get the tailgater off my tail, and they will close up on the rear of the next vehicle and squat there. This often happens in the left lane. You will see a string of closed up vehicles behind someone loafing along at or below the speed limit. I think that most of them must be on their screens.

Lol. Yes.. Every time I'm on the interstate. Folks follow 1-2 car lengths behind. Roads are in bad shape and really can't see the craters ahead being that close. Regardless of the lane im in, it's usually 10-20 car lengths at least. If someone starts riding my @ss, I'll ease the throttle, if still there will remove from throttle entirely. They're usually too impatient and will pass any way possible.

I don't think it's a screen problem, more so bad habits. Riding the bike taught me to always be aware of surroundings and have an escape route.
