Driver’s seat upright knocking.

I’ve got an annoying knock sound in the back of my driver’s seat.
It’s there all the time but can’t be made to do it by shifting around weight or jumping around the seat etc..

It sounds and I can actually feel it about dead centre.

I wonder if it’s some seat spring being caught in a position then lets go?
I often notice it prevalent after stopping at lights, take off and then “Knock.”

Anyone had this issue?
It was not there from day one.
Car is 8 months old and has done only 6000kms. (3500 miles)

Yup, I’ve got what I suspect is the same thing. Although mine is more of a ‘thunk’ and feels like the seat is actually shifting back a little bit but otherwise it’s as you describe in that it only occurs when taking off. It’s only intermittent and I haven’t spent any time looking into it but I’ll start paying more attention now that I know someone else is experiencing the same thing.
