Driveline thud/clunk

Hi all

Just want to know if anyone else has had this experience. This characteristic has been with my GT 3.3 since day one.

At higher speeds 80kph or more, if coasting down a hill decelerating, if you accelerate I'll hear/feel a thud. Usually this only happens while in higher gears 7th or 8th.

I feel like this would be caused by the change in momentum from the rear diff, being the first 8 speed rwd car I've had I'm not sure if this would be a normal thing. Hope I explained it well enough

Hearing a thud that may be from the driveline isn't good under any conditions. I'd talk to my service department!

I have noticed the same thing. Have you raised this with your dealer?
