Do your side window rubber edges/brushes touch the glass?

Ok .. nonnative speaker with fantabulous titles here I mean the sidewindows .. the edge down at the door, where you have arubber/brush edge, before the glass goes down into the door. On my stinger, these don't really touch the glass .. which means I can't brush off raindrops with window movement, they just stay on if small enough and vanish down into the door and come up again. Is that normal? I never had that with any car.

Not joking, there should be NO gap whatsoever. See the attached pics. The mirror image in glass makes it clear how tight it is..
Had it happen to me on the truck. Was an easy fix then.

It looks similar to me .. have to make a pic ... visibly it's quite tight. And yet, small spray water pearls just move inside and out again .. I'll try to document it
