This is only the 3rd time driving the car since I got it so I'm still learning. My wife and I headed out and i made a stop and didn't remember that my phone was connected to the car blue tooth playing music. When I came back out my wife said it switched from my phone to her phone and then switched back to my phone. So i took the phone out of my pocket and put it on the wireless charger not really thinking. When drove off and it wouldn't let me change anything including volume, mode to change to radio or Sirius, I tried to push the off button, nothing happened. So I got to my next stop and turned off the car and turned back on and left the phone on the charger, same thing, no response to buttons on the steering wheel or the touch screen of the display. Got to my next stop and my wife said hey maybe the wireless charger is the issue, so I removed the phone from the charging area and started the car back up and now everything worked as it was supposed to.

So my log winded question is, can I connect my phone to blue tooth and also do wireless charging at the same time as it appears I can't? Not that I want to all the time, just wondered if I was supposed to be able to?

Thanks for any replies and sorry so long!

yes you can bluetooth and wireless charge. is your media power button on? is your phone's music app set to allow external devices to start playback? whichever phone you want connected via bluetooth, turn the other phones bluetooth off or unpair it. um, you have to make sure the media power button/knob is on and then set to whatever you want to use, radio, bluetooth, etc. maybe if none of that works, try going into your cars display settings for bluetooth, etc.

Thanks for the reply.

If you mean the knob that turns the music louder "media power button being on" than yes as I was listening to apple music via bluetooth. If thats something else than I will have to check. I don't see anywhere in apple music settings on iPhone to allow external devices.

Sorry I'm not much help

I went and tried again and everything worked as it was supposed to via blue tooth and the wireless charger. So next time will have my wife turn off her blue tooth and see what happens.

thanks for the help, have a good weekend
