I stopped by the showroom of Friendly Kia this morning to see the Stinger for myself. It was very early, so the only salesman was with another customer. My main goal was to feel the quality of the car for myself and to check the legroom in the backseat. The quality is certainly what I was expecting. If you've seen a 2017 or newer Cadenza, It is only a touch below that....if at all. I remember when I saw the Cadenza for the first time at last year's car show I thought that it had a nicer interior than the Cadillac (CTS and base CT6) and the Jaguar (XF) that I also sat in.
The rear legroom of the Stinger however, was a little disappointing. I'm attaching some pictures. I am 6'4" tall and I currently drive a Pontiac G8 (Chevy SS Sedan and Holden Commodore are the same size). I've sat in the back seat of a Chrysler 300 and a Dodge Charger and both feel tighter than the G8, but just slightly...so that will give you an idea of what I prefer. Headroom seemed fine, I still had almost an inch. It's definitely not a dealbreaker...and I knew it would be less legroom...but I actually had to straddle the front seat to sit behind myself. (See pics) There really aren't any other RWD options in this price range that would come close....so I'm still a likely future customer...and very excited about how nice the overall look and feel of the Stinger is in person.
