Posted this on What did you do to your Kia Stinger today? but maybe it better belongs here.
Bought a borescope recently. I had some free time this weekend so I decided to look down the intakes and take a peak at the turbo fins. Found one black spot (almost a smooth, dried, tar-like mark) on one of the fins, on each turbo. Very strange, and not sure what it is or how it got there. With the VT Snorkels I regularly look at/clean/knock out debris on my air filters, and have never seen any puncture or marking of anything making it through.
Curious, if anyone knows what this may be, or has seen this before on a current or previous car. I may send pics to my local dealer as well.
Took her out for a nice Sunday drive, and runs like a champ
