Hi everyone, I am new to this forum, so I apologize if I make any mistakes while using it.
I own a 2018 Stinger GT that I purchased privately approx. 2 years ago.
Fitted to the vehicle when purchased was a Thinkware F800 Pro Dash Camera including rear camera.
The issue I have with the dash cam is that I continually get the following error message while driving and also in park mode.
"System error - system will restart"
The dash cam will then go through the start-up procedure. This has happened basically daily since I purchased the vehicle.
The previous owner did alert me to the issue before I purchased the vehicle.
Over the last 2 years several companies including TDJ Australia (Thinkware Agents) and Kia Service Technicians have attempted to rectify the issue without success.
TDJ Australia supplied me with a replacement front and rear camera recently but that did not help either. A new wiring harness was supplied as well but I have had not had this changed.
Additionally, on an electrical issue I also have the following issues:
a) The function of the external rear view mirrors moving down when reversing sometimes does not happen.
b) Tyre pressure monitors on occasion do not work.
Any assistance/suggestions would be very much appreciated.
