So, it seems like exhaust options out there are pretty dry. Of course there are quite a few options, but coming from a Toyota 86/BRZ, theres 1 exhaust option for every 10 options compared to the BRZ line. Because of this, i've struggled to find a perfect system. Tomorrow ill be getting a custom system installed, i bought a pair of used Borla mufflers from the Type-S catback from a guy on Facebook. Im planning on deleting the resonators & slapping the Borla mufflers on. Not sure what kinda sound im gonna get but i'm aiming for the same or similar sound as a Borla system. If anyone has any idea as to how the Borla system is set up compared to the stock system, that’d be a huge help as im not sure if they cut out the resonators or have some of their own included in their Type-S package. Ill update the thread with a video so yall can hear what it sounds like and hopefully its good! Any help and/or pointers are appreciated as this is the first time ill be touching the exhaust on my 3.3T 2018 GT1. Only 22k miles on her!

EDIT: Basically my mission is to construct the Borla exhaust. I have the mufflers but thats it. I want the Borla sound without the Borla price tag. So i’m essentially trying to re-create the system without paying $1200. Typical quote for it is $200-$500 from the shops around me. Id totally do it myself but sadly i don't have a lift & i’ve already had a car fall on me from trying to modify exhaust. Lets just say i’m slightly traumatized from nearly dying, my luck is shi*. (Yes the car was lifted and propped up correctly, it was just my luck that everything went sideways)

I am not a exhaust pro, but deleting resonators and installing borla mufflers is just begging for ridiculous drone. Make sure you have ear plugs. ;)
