Could someone check...

Looking inside the engine bay today I noticed a hole that looks to be threaded. If I see a threaded hole I expect to see a bolt in it but it's seemingly unused.

Could some kind soul check their engine bay in the same place and make sure I'm not missing something...

Yeah, I have the same thing near the sway-bar bushings. Not sure what it's for, probably part of the manufacturing process.

I keep forgetting to ask the service tech's about it, but doubt they'll know either...

I have the same thing. I'm figuring it's there for a future mod that I MUST make because it's there. That's what I'll tell the wife! Though she'll be curious as to what that hole has to do with a new wheels! I got it! With the new wheels, they'll make the car faster and hotter and thus there needs to be a "vent" in order to release the heat from said speed! I won't work.
