Convenience memory seat not retracting/forwarding automatically

My memory seat isn't working. All the motorized functions work, it's set to retract (extended, not normal) in the settings, and everything else works.: the wheel rises, I feel the lumbar relax, but the doesn't move an inch on it's tracks when i stop/start the car or open/close the door. The saved memory seat settings work fine, and adjust as they should if I move it. But it does nothing re: moving the seat back when I turn off the car. I have a '23 GT2. Any idea what I might be missing?

I just bought the car last Friday. I traded up from my '19 GT2 where it consistently worked fine. In this one, it worked one time. It didn't work initially, then I found the sub menu where I could change from normal to extended retract. When I changed it to extended, it worked maybe 1-2 times, then stopped. I turned that setting, and others, off then back on again ( Troubleshooting For Dummies, lol) but no luck.

I would run through the settings again.

1. Setup, vehicle, seat easy access, make sure not set to off.

2. Memory seat might be set while in extended position therefore seat will never move.

With engine running, adjust seat to correct position press set then button 1 or 2.
