Continental contact extreme plus tire pressure

So I'm running 35- 36 lb. I noticed my sidewalls have like little marks on them. I think it's from the payment so I increase pressure to 40 lb. May give up a little comfort, want my tires to last a while too, 20 inch rims too What are you guys running on your Continental tires for a pressure. Thanks
And these are low profile tires. I'm running 30 and 35 on profile

I would stick with recommended psi. Maybe 38 at the most. An overinflated tire will not necessarily last any longer.

Max is 51 I went from 40 to 38 this morning I'm sure when they heat up will be back around 40lbs never seen a tire mark the sidewall before but I'm not used to low profile eather
