In the past I’ve used the twist-up style shades like this in my cars since they’re thin enough to wedge between the center console and passenger seat when not used.

Has anyone found anything better fitting or better quality that’s still relatively thin? I would go with Covercraft but I’m told it’s about 1.5” thick and wouldn’t fit a narrow space for storage.

I’ve used the two piece twist up sunshade for years. It’s plenty tall enough for the windshield but the one problem is the rear view mirror pushing down on the top. Not too big a problem for me

I use the twisty type. Although it looks cheap, apparently the materials and construction are quite durable. I've had this for over two years and not a thing has failed, including the stretchy band that holds it together (twisted up) or any stitching; not even the bag is showing signs of wear yetDSC07262.webp .
