Hello everyone! I am new to the forum I just recently bought a 2019 stinger GT and was looking into a chrome delete because 1 not the biggest fan of chrome and 2 there is a good bit of blemishing on it too. I’m looking to change it to black or faux carbon fiber or possibly just carbon fiber. Has anyone done it and where would u start with a small project like this. This would be my 2nd exterior car modification ever ( 1st being a badge swap to the 21’ badges) so just a newbie looking for some guidance and help.

I assume you mean the chrome strips above the doors and alongside the hatch window. Those are the most exposed pieces of chrome and do get spotted, or worse, on some vehicles. You can clean them up with a good spot remover like Flitz, or even rubbing compound. But, you are not a fan. So, the other thing people do is wrap them or paint them. I think that the blackout look with a high gloss to match the piano black pieces is the best way to go. Ima not a fan of fake cf.

Thanks for the recommendations!! I didn’t know if I could polish it out or not, lol. And with the CF I figured it would be easier to find a wrap for it instead of finding those trim pieces but I am the same way with CF for the most part that would be a last resort thing.
