I have a 2018 GT2 and I just a got my car back from getting a chrome delete done and overall I like it but there was a part on the front grill behind that clear sensor shield where he said he couldn’t because it would cause the sensors to go off. Can anyone tell me what that sensor is for? And can anyone tell me if there’s a solution to being able to delete that chrome also?

That plastic shield is where the smart cruise control sensor is to assist with following traffic while cruise control is enabled.

Ahhh thanks for that. So in theory nothing would happen if I wrapped it? Or at the very least it just wouldn’t work if I tried to use it? I don’t take the car on long trips and I’ve never used cruise control.

That sensor is also used for the autonomous emergency braking system. If the waves from the sensor can't penetrate the wrap there's a good chance you'll have warning lights on your dash, in addition for those functions not working.
